This educational webinar will help healthcare providers to understand the risk of Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever) following wildfires, and to effectively diagnose, treat, and report cases presenting in their practices.

In Part I, Dr. GR Thompson will cover historic epidemiology of wildfires and the related Valley Fever incidence due to soil disruption and airborne spore exposure.

In Part II, Dr. Fariba Donovan will explain the various clinical presentations of Coccidioidomycosis and where you’re most likely to find it. She will share expertise in how best to diagnose Valley Fever, and when and how to treat it.
